  Customer service is really bad. we had a group of 9 and only one waitress who only refilled some of our drinks once and never brought my nephew his water ,ever! The waitress rarely Came around. The food was average. I ordered "10oz Steak" meal and got beef skirt (Fajita meat) !! Definitely will not recommend this place. We did get lots of chips and salsa.

  Called in 30 minutes before arrival with a party of 10. They told me on the phone that they would have a table waiting for us. We all arrive to the restaurant about 1/3 full of customers and they were closing in 1hr. After telling them I had a reservation they said they were short on employees and that they would not seat us for at least 45 minutes. We were all fine with that and simply asked that we get a table to sit at and we could wait the 45 minutes to get served. They told us they would not seat us and that we would have to wait outside where there was no seating for people waiting. After about 15 minutes they informed us that due to staffing issues they would not seat us at all and to go elsewhere for food. We all went to Ninfa's where we got treated better and were offered a table to eat. After the way Casa Rod treated me and my friends I will not be returning there. They used to be a place I would visit often with good food and service but their food has declined and their service has become horrible it seems.

  Solid Mexican restaurant. Not as good IMHO as it used to be (early 2000s), but still worth a visit. I like their carnitas. Their "Street style" tacos are good as well, but are occasionally too greasy for my taste. Decent lunch specials. Decent service.
